Rains, thunderstorms seen in Mindanao—Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines—Light to moderate rains and thunderstorms were seen to affect Mindanao due to a trough of a low pressure area, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.

Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its afternoon bulletin.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Metro Manila experienced its highest temperature for the day at 32.8 degrees Celsius at 1:50 p.m.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the east will prevail over northern and Central Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate, Pagasa said.
