30 hurt as truck, passenger bus collide in Caloocan

MANILA, Philippines—About 30 people were injured when a truck and a passenger bus figured in an accident in Caloocan City early Tuesday, police said.

Senior Police Officer 1 Rick Villanueva, officer on the case, said the incident involving an Alro Trans Bus and a truck carrying rice grain happened on B. Serrano Street, Grace Park East in Caloocan City at 6:10 a.m.

The circumstances surrounding the accident were not immediately available as of posting time.

He said the injured victims were rushed to the President Diosdado Macapagal Memorial Medical Center.

A radio report said the area was temporarily closed to traffic.
