Gabe Freeman will be doing a balancing act between his mother team, the San Miguel Beermen of the Asean Basketball League, and the Petron Blaze, of which he is expected to play for while the Booster sawait the arrival of new import Henry Sims in the ongoing PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Sims is slated to replace Rodney White, who was by and large, forgettable in his two-game stint with the Boosters, both of which ended up in losses.
In the meantime, Freeman, who was sidelined because of an injury, will try to help Petron, who has not quite regained their rhythm after the banning of former import Renaldo Balkman following his controversial on-court outburst several weeks ago.
According to reports, Freeman will suit up for the Boosters versus the Meralco Bolts and the Barako Bull Energy and then, go back to the Beermen in time for the ABL playoffs.
