Malabon traffic re-routing set for Lambingan Bridge rehab

MANILA, Philippines — Malabon residents and motorists frequenting roads in the city should expect rerouting measures when work returns to normal in the city on Monday (April 1).

This, as the Malabon City government announced the start of the rehabilitation of the Lambingan Bridge along Gov. W. Pascual Avenue in Barangay (village) Concepcion, Malabon on Monday.

The city government has announced four alternate routes to be taken by vehicles to avoid the road closures near the bridge.

For light vehicles going to Concepcion and Hulong Duhat from Potrero via Gov. W. Pascual Avenue, turn left to Sanciangco, right to P. Aquino-Rizal Avenue, and then right to Gen. Luna.

For heavy vehicles going to Concepcion and Hulong Duhat from Potrero via Gov. W. Pascual Avenue, turn right to M.H. Del Pilar and go straight to Panghulo and Dampalit.

Meanwhile, vehicles going to Potrero from Hulong Duhat should go straight to C. Arellano, right to Sacristia, left to F. Sevilla, left to Rizal Avenue-P. Aquino, and left to Sanciangco.

Finally, for vehicles going to Tinajeros from the Manapat and Bayan areas should take Rizal Avenue-P. Aquino, and turn left to Sanciangco.

The local government has yet to announce when the rehabilitation of the bridge is expected to be finished.
