Summer is synonymous to the beach but if you don’t dig the crowd, Terra Manna Camping & Resort in Badian in southwest Cebu may just be the right place for you.
What sets Terra Manna apart from the many white sand resorts in Badian is its camping accommodations which cater to those on a budget or the backpackers.
For P600 per person, one can get a tent with linen, pillows, blanket, mat, toiletries, flashlight, battery-operated lamp and a standby kerosene lamp, Wi-Fi access and breakfast.
The resort offers tents of various sizes—double for one or two persons; standard, which can accommodate up to four persons; and family, good for six persons.
For those opting to sleep in the comfort of beds, the resort also offers villas and cottages which dot the four-hectare resort and built not close to each other to afford privacy for each guest.
Manicured lawns and a nature garden, an organic farm which produces some of the ingredients for dishes served at the resort’s restaurant make it a perfect place for those wishing to have a solitary good time. A wide open space and a magnificent view of the Tanon Strait topped with a bonfire for families and friends—one is hard pressed to find these luxuries.
