Summer is synonymous to the beach but if you don’t dig the crowd, Terra Manna Camping & Resort in Badian in southwest Cebu may just be the right place for you.

What sets Terra Manna apart from the many white sand resorts in Badian is its camping accommodations which cater to those on a budget or the backpackers.

For P600 per person, one can get a tent with linen, pillows, blanket, mat, toiletries, flashlight, battery-operated lamp and a standby kerosene lamp, Wi-Fi access and breakfast.

The resort offers tents of various sizes—double for one or two persons; standard, which can accommodate up to four persons; and family, good for six persons.

HOW TO GET THERE

Take a bus heading to Badian at the South Bus Terminal along Natalio Bacalso road where one unit leaves every 30 minutes.

An airconditioned bus would charge P120 while a non-airconditioned bus charges less.

Get off at the Badian market where you can get a tricycle to take you to Terra Mana in barangay Lambug for P15 per person. Tricycle drivers are familiar with the place.
