SEVEN Cebuano footballers aim for spots in the national pool for the Under 13 football team in a two-day final tryout in Dumaguete today.
The seven are Leo Maquiling and Carlos Berlin of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu; Sean Kyle Go of Bright Academy; Philip Anthony Fernandez of Sacred Heart School-Hijas de Jesus; Mark Ivan Ouano of University of Southern Philippines Foundation; Pietre Dakay of Paref Springdale and Loyd Soco of Banilad Elementary School.
They were shortlisted during the Philippine Football Federation Festival of Football Visayas eliminations, wherein they played for the Cebu Football Association (CFA) Boys U-13 team.
The team coached by Dennis Penalosa and Jong Perez dominated its category during the PFF-FOF last February./CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
