SC takes Holy Week break

MANILA, Philippines–The Supreme Court will not hold its regular enbanc (full court) session Tuesday as it has started its Lenten break, its Information Office said.

Session will resume next week in Baguio for its regular summer session.

Information Chief Theodore Te said that while there was nothing definite on the high court’s agenda in Baguio, he hinted that at least two major decisions would be voted on.

An oral argument on the legality of the Philippine Mining Act will also be conducted in Baguio on April 16.
