Three drug suspects and a squealer

Three alleged drug pushers were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Pasig City early this week after another arrested suspect in Quezon City pointed to them as her suppliers.

Hadji Banto, Naila Rogong and Abdul Macasandag were apprehended Thursday night in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, after selling methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu’” to members of the Quezon City Police District who posed as buyers.

Earlier, the QCPD arrested Jenalyn Pidlac in a similar entrapment at the corner of Aurora Boulevard and Katipunan Avenue Thursday morning, when she sold P8,000 worth of shabu.

She later squealed on her three sources, who later that day were lured into selling shabu worth P100,000 in a trap set on Urbano Velasco Avenue in Pasig.

All four suspects were detained at the QCPD headquarters in Camp Karingal to face charges. Julie M. Aurelio
