3 drug pushers nabbed in Pasig
MANILA, Philippines—Three men were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Pasig City earlier this week after a woman, collared earlier in Quezon City, pointed to them as her source of shabu.
Hadji Banto, Naila Rogong and Abdul Macasandag were apprehended on Thursday evening in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City after selling methamphetamine hydrochloride to operatives of the Quezon City Police District.
Senior Inspector Roberto Razon of the QCPD anti-illegal drugs unit said the three were subjected to inquest proceedings before Pasig City fiscal Eliezer Arreola Jr. and have been charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The three men were arrested on Urbano Velasco Avenue in Barangay Pinagbuhatan at 7:30 p.m. Thursday while allegedly selling P100,000 worth of shabu to the undercover agents. Recovered from them were a sachet containing 24.86 grams of shabu, fake money and four marked P500 bills handed over as payment for the shabu.
Razon said they first arrested Jenalyn Pidlac in a buy-bust operation at the corner of Aurora Boulevard and Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
The woman was caught in the act of receiving two marked P500 bills plus fake bills from an undercover policeman, who pretended to be buying P8,000 worth of shabu.
Article continues after this advertisementThe QCPD recovered a sachet containing 1.4 grams of shabu from Pidlac, who has also been charged with drug peddling.

Razon said the woman and the three men are detained in Camp Karingal.
