Teenagers figure in Caloocan stabbing
MANILA, Philippines—A teenager was in serious condition after another lad younger than he stabbed him in Caloocan City, police said Friday.
The Caloocan police withheld the names of the 15-year-old victim and the 13-year-old assailant, both male and both residents of Barangay 81, Caloocan City, for being minors.
The incident happened at the corner of Gen. Simon Street and Calle Uno, Barangay 81, Caloocan City at around 8 p.m. on Thursday.
The victim was reportedly listening to his music gadget when the younger fellow arrived and warned him about playing his gadget in public. A heated argument started when the victim ignored the admonition.
Enraged, the assailant went back to his house, got a knife and repeatedly stabbed the victim in the back.
Barangay watchmen responded to the stabbing, arrested the assailant and took the victim to the President Diosdado Macapagal Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
