Early preparation for AFC games
CEBU City Sports Center (CCSC) manager Ricky Ballesteros is hoping that the Cebu Football Association (CFA) would sit down with him and coordinate with regards to the field preparation for Cebu’s hosting of the Group B of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President’s Cup from May 2 to 12.
He said that he is waiting for the CFA to finalize things and that they will need to sign another memorandum of agreement.
According to Ballesteros, he needs to finalize things with the CFA because they also need to make adjustments with their summer programs.
The field will be used today for the graduation rites of the Abellana National School.
The CCSC manager said this may be the last activity that will be held in CCSC. As for the Palaro teams, they will have to find other venues for their practices, Ballesteros added.
Ballesteros said it will have to be CCSC who will buy the grass to be planted because they will have to get it from one source.
