The De La Salle University (DLSU) centennial coffee table book, “The Future Begins Here,” bagged an Anvil bronze award as well as the Anvil award of excellence during the recent 48th Anvil Awards.
As defined by PRSP, the Bronze Anvil Award is awarded to a public relations tool that stands out from among those already rated as “Excellent” in their respective categories.
On the other hand, an Anvil Award of Excellence is presented to an outstanding program or tool that surpasses the standards set in a specific category.
Documenting DLSU’s 100 years, “The Future Begins Here” is a 320-page publication which gives the readers a view of hundreds of images of DLSU, accompanied by essays from respected writers and media veterans.
Proceeds from book sales went to the One La Salle Scholarship fund, the centerpiece project of the DLSU centennial celebration, which aims to raise P2 billion to support 18,000 scholars in DLSU schools nationwide.
