Nancy Binay’s Baguio dinner invitation has no takers but…
MANILA, Philippines—United Nationalist Alliance candidate Nancy Binay said Friday her dinner invitation in Baguio is still open for Team PNoy candidates when they take their campaign rally in the City of Pines.
In an interview before UNA’s motorcade in Muntinlupa City, Binay said she has not received any confirmation from any of the Team PNoy members since she extended her dinner invitation to the group last week.
An earlier report said Binay invited Team PNoy to talk about the Sabah issue over dinner.
“Open pa ang invitation, wala pa namang Sunday (The invitation is still open, it’s not yet Sunday),” Binay said.
Both UNA and Team PNoy will take their campaign to the Summer Capital over the weekend. It will also be the first time that both groups will be at the same location.

(I’m always looking forward to a warm welcome for us. This has been the case in all of our past sorties.)
When asked if President Benigno Aquino III’s presence at Team PNoy’s Sunday sortie would draw more crowds for the group, Binay said that in their past experiences, UNA’s sorties were a big hit even in the absence of their leaders.
She, however, said that her father, Vice President Jejomar Binay, will be joining their Baguio rally.
