BUSINESSMAN Glenn Soco will launch his second bid for the Cebu vice gubernatorial seat in his hometown of Mandaue City.
Soco who is running without a slate said his nomination from the Partido ng Masang Pilipino was affirmed by former president Joseph Estrada.
Soco said Estrada formally endorsed him during his last visit here in Cebu.
“I think of my party affiliation as a gesture of support and confidence from PMP which is a recognized party. So in terms of the political situation and sensitivity, dili ko mag-expect that they will be here,” he said.
Soco was ditched by the One Cebu Party of the Garcias in favor of former Danao City Vice Mayor Boboy Durano. Soco was the runningmate of Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia in 2010./Correspondent Carmel Loise Matus
