CIT University opens child care center
THE Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Human Resource department headed by Estela Lizares opened the child care center last Feb. 13.
The center, with the slogan “Let’s play, learn and grow together,” is designed for the children enrolled in our elementary department whose parents or guardians are employees of CIT-U. The children can use the center during their vacant period, instead of their parents’ respective offices.
The fully air-conditioned center is equipped with a 42-inch LED television and education materials.
Lockers are also provided for each child, who will be supervised by non-academic scholars and human resource staff.
In his speech during the opening, CIT-U vice president for Administration John Gregory Escario encouraged everyone to avail the program since it is “beneficial both for the parents and the school.”
Located at the quadrangle, the center opens from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Mondays to Fridays and 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday.
