Bulacan village exec killed

A barangay (village) official in Meycauayan, Bulacan, was shot dead in Valenzuela City Monday morning. The Valenzuela police identified the victim as Ronald Legaspi, chairman of Barangay Libutan in Meycauayan. Initial reports showed that the shooting happened inside the victim’s  house in Barangay Wawang Pulo which straddles the boundary between Valenzuela and Meycauayan. Legaspi was reportedly cleaning his car in his garage when he was shot by a group of still unidentified men. The police are still investigating the motive behind the incident. Nathaniel R. Melican
