Archers go for fourth victory

THE LA SALLE Green Archers will try for joint second place in the standings as they gun for their fourth straight victory when they take on the Adamson Soaring Falcons today in the 74th UAAP basketball tournament at the Araneta Coliseum.

After coming off the games in sluggish fashion, the Archers have found themselves in a groove, winning their last three games, the last one being an 87-63 romp over the University of the East Red Warriors. La Salle is currently tied with their opponents today in the standings. Both have 3-2 records.

Adamson will be trying to bounce back from a sorry loss, which they suffered at the hands of the National University Bulldogs, 56-63. The win by the struggling Bulldogs was only their second in six games. NU will try to add to their win total when they face-off against the winless Red Warriors.  Correspondent Jonas Panerio
