March is Fire Prevention Month. During this month last year, the Bureau of Fire Protection recorded over 900 cases of fires nationwide which resulted in 74 casualties. Of the total figure, 35 percent or 314 fires  were posted in the National Capital Region. Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
