Girl from Misamis seeks help

A 9-year old girl from Initao, Misamis Oriental is in need of financial assistance for her medication.

Ehgine Mae Iroc was diagnosed to have orbital bone in her left eye. Ehgine’s left eye started to protrude from the eye socket.

She was then brought by her mother to Cebu Velez General Hospital, where attending physician advised her to undergo surgery to remove a portion of her forehead bone.

After surgery, Ehgine had to take medicines and undergo a series of laboratory examinations. But her parents could not comply with the doctor’s orders due to financial hardships. Ehgine’s mother is a barangay worker, while her father is a cook of a small restaurant. Her parents already spent the proceeds from the sale of their farm animals.
