Gringo goes on south Cebu sortie

UNITED Nationalist Alliance (UNA) senatorial candidate Gregorio Honasan met with local officials to muster support for his bid.

Honasan, who was accompanied by incumbent Senator Vicente Sotto III visited southern Cebu towns and cities.

But before starting their southern Cebu sortie, Honasan and Sotto stopped by the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral for a short visit with Msgr. Roberto Alesna, who later blessed Honasan before they left the Cathedral.

Honasan met with Talisay City Mayor Socrates and the daughter of Naga City Mayor Valdemar Chiong.

Honasan also visited Carcar City and met Argao City Mayor Edsel Galleos at the Argao Municipal Hall.

Today, Honasan plans to visit Lapu-Lapu City and meet with Mayor Paz Radaza. /Correspondent Tweeny M. Malinao
