FIGHT fans in Lilo-an, Cebu will be treated to ten bruising professional bouts this Saturday (March 9) at the Panphil B. Frasco Sports Complex.
RWS Promotions has announced that the fight card billed as ‘Champions of the Future’ will now be headlined by the 10-round non-title bout between Gerpaul Valero and Jovilito Aligarbes.
The main event for this card was initially reported to be between Marlon Tapales and Danilo Peña but Tapales opted to take the offer to fight in Mexico last month and subsequently lost to David Sanchez by majority decision.
Valero, who fights out of the Flores Boxing Gym of Mandaue City, will try to bounce back from his unanimous decision loss to Gerson Mancio during the Sinulog fight card at the Gaisano Country Mall which halted Valero’s 12-fight streak.
Aligarbes is from the Freddie Siao Stable of Iligan City.
