16 houses razed in Tayabas town

QUEZON—Sixteen houses were destroyed in a fire in Tayabas, Quezon, on Thursday.

Supt. Ronnie Miralles, Tayabas police chief, said the morning fire started in one of the houses in Barangay San Isidro at the town proper and immediately spread to the neighborhood.

Local firemen, with help from fire fighters from the town of Pagbilao, Lucena City, and volunteers, helped put out the hourlong fire that razed 16 houses. Delfin Mallari Jr., Inquirer Southern Luzon
