Printing press owner slain

A printing press owner was found dead inside his warehouse after it was apparently robbed in Binondo, Manila, Thursday night.

PO2 Crispono Ocampo of the Manila Police District’s homicide section identified the victim as Anselmo Ramirez, 86, owner of Huapu Printing Press in Asuncion Street.

Ocampo said the victim appeared to have been hit in the head by a blunt object when found by his employees near the toilet inside the warehouse.

Investigators suspect that robbers broke into the place, which was also burglarized last year.

They have asked the victim’s family to let them check the security camera installed at the establishment. Nancy C. Carvajal
