Cynthia Villar elated by big leap in SWS survey

MANILA, Philippines – Former Las Piñas Representative Cynthia Villar was elated on Tuesday by her big leap in the latest survey by the Social Weather Station (SWS), from  8th to 9th in January to 4th  place this February.

“This further encourages, energizes and inspires me to bring my message across through my advocacies and platform of continued service to more people,” Villar said in a statement.

“I am happy that Filipinos appreciate my efforts to help them,” she added.

Grateful for this “vote of confidence” of the public, Villar vowed not only to continue but hasten the delivery of livelihood projects to provides jobs and augment the income of Filipino families when she gets elected in the Senate.

Villar, popularly known as “Misis Hanep Buhay,” has been campaigning on a platform of providing jobs to the Filipino people especially women.

When she was a member of the House of Representatives, the former lawmaker said she authored and sponsored several legislations to protect the interests of women, children and the Filipino family.
