A 19-year-old housemaid who stole a diamond ring worth P500,000 from her employer and pawned it for only P3,000 was arrested on Sunday night.
The complainant, Bernadette King, 60, a Taiwanese living at a condominium on Roxas Boulevard, went to the police Monday together with the suspect, Donnarose Ampater.
King was accompanied by her driver and the condominium’s security chief Reynaldo Cartel who tracked down Ampater to an apartment in Payatas, Quezon City. Erika Sauler
