Alcala names new DA-7 technical director
AGRICULTURE Secretary Proceso Alcala recently designated Joel Elumba as the new technical director for Research and Regulatory Services of the Department of Agriculture in Central Visayas (DA-7).
Elumba, who hails from Surigao, is also DA-7’s Livestock coordinator.
He appealed for cooperation with fellow workers in agricultural development work.

He said that with teamwork and cooperation, services can be easily delivered to the people.
Elumba has extensive experience in livestock program management, having served as livestock inspector, artificial insemination technician and as superintendent of the Ubay Stock Farm in Bohol for 13 years.
