THE Dolores Aboitiz Children’s Fund (DACF) of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) has partnered with the Women’s Resource Center of Visayas Inc. for two years for the establishment of the “Tulunghaan sa Batang Pit-os” project in sitio Tapoko, barangay Pit-os, Cebu City.
The partnership was sealed with a memorandum of agreement (MOA) signed between the two parties.
The project aims to provide children from the poor and middle class access to early childhood education program.
This will benefit 35 children every year and will also capacitate the local women organization, Kababayen-an alang sa Katilingbanong Kalambuan (KKK), in managing the day care program.
DACF, in its pursuit to provide opportunities for young children aged 0-8 years old, has launched a call for proposals for projects related to early childhood care and development.
Interested groups can submit concept applications on or before July 31.
