Public school classes in Manila suspended due to heavy rains

MANILA, Philippines—Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim has suspended classes in public schools on all levels in Manila.

Lim said class suspension is for all city-owned schools from elementary to college including Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and the Unibersidad de Manila (formerly City College of Manila).

He said suspension of classes in other schools will be at the discretion of the school administrators.
