Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa and the province of Aurora will have cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rains which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of Luzon will be cloudy with light rains, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
In Pagasa’s extended weather outlook, Metro Manila will be better over the weekend with only partly cloudy skies and brief rains.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail throughout the country and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Strong to gale-force winds associated with the northeast monsoon are also seen to affect the seaboards of Northern and Southern Luzon and the eastern seaboards of Central Luzon and Visayas.
“Fishing boats and other small seacraft are advised not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves,” Pagasa said.
