Bloodstained car may be that of missing Quezon City trader
A car bearing bloodstains and believed to be owned by a businessman who went missing recently was found on the parking lot of a Quezon City mall on Tuesday.
The Suzuki Celerio hatchback had been left unattended for three days at Eton Centris mall along Edsa, prompting security guards to report it to the police.
Recovered in the vehicle was a driver’s license issued to Gerald Reyes, 27, a car-wash owner who had been reported missing since Feb. 11. Also found were a broken necklace and a bloodstained gray shirt.
The guards also noticed bloodstains on the seats, according to a report reaching the Kamuning station of the Quezon City Police District.—Julie M. Aurelio
