Abandoned patrol vehicle yields dead woman

A woman was found dead in an abandoned barangay (village) patrol vehicle in Sta. Ana, Manila, before dawn Tuesday.

Police identified the victim as Milagrosa Serrano, 49, of Dayang Street, Barangay 793. She was found with blood in her mouth and her feet swollen inside an Asian utility vehicle (SFY-793).

The AUV had markings showing that it belonged to the same barangay where she lived. SPO3 Glenzor Vallejo of the Manila Police District homicide section said a barangay worker discovered Serrano’s body in the AUV while it was parked near the victim’s residence around 5 a.m.—Nancy C. Carvajal
