Andrin siblings shine in PCGS Run

The Andrin siblings continued their winning ways in local soil as they logged victories in yesterday’s Philippine Christian Gospel School (PCGS) Fun Run yesterday.

Lovely Fe Andrin topped the 12-kilometer women’s category of the race that started and ended at the PCGS campus along Junquera Street while Jhean won the 3k crown. Their other sister, Cherry, finished third in the 12k race.

Lovely Fe finished the race in one hour and 18 seconds, barely escaping Cebu’s former running queen Cristy Sevellino-Tutor, who finished second with a time of 1:00:20. Cherry clocked 1:02:36 for third place.

Meanwhile, Davao City’s Joebert Carolino topped the men’s side of the 12k race with a time of 41 minutes and 42 seconds.

John Philip Dueñas placed second (41:57) while Michael Largo claimed third place (42:40).

Mary Joy Tabal emerged victorious in the short-distance 6k race by clocking 23:55.

She was trailed by Claire Ray Racho at second place (31:20) and Mariter Del Rosario at third (38:33).

Robert Daang placed first in the men’s 6k race with a time of 20:29 followed by Joel Delposo (20:53) and Karl Greyson Le (28:10).

Jorry Ycong topped the men’s 3k (10:13) followed by Reyman Deloy (12:34) and Esterlito Cloribel (13:17).

Jhean Andrin, finished the women’s 3k race in 12:34.

University of San Carlos (USC) athletics coach Arvin Loberanis, together with athlete daughter Mary Joy and cousin Emil Adrian, crossed the finish line together to top the 3k family category with a time of 10 minutes and 13 seconds.
