Starex van stolen in Mandaue

THEFT cases in Mandaue City involving Hyundai Starex vehicles continue to rise.

Emeraldo Inocian, 61, reported to the police that his Starex with plate number JES-162 was stolen while parked about 100 meters from his house in M.L. Quezon Street in barangay Maguikay, Mandaue.

Inocian said he discovered the vehicle missing around 5 a.m. yesterday.

Inocian said he thought the vehicle was towed by the Traffic Enforcement Agency in Mandaue (TEAM).

Inocian said contacted TEAM but he was informed that his car was not there.

Police said it was the ninth car theft case in the city since January./REPORTER JUCELL MARIE P. CUYOS
