Owner of security agency gunned down in Q.C.
MANILA, Philippines—Two men on a motorcycle gunned down late Tuesday night the owner of the Pax Urbis (latin for peace of the city) security agency just outside his establishment, police said.
Police said Willard Agaloos, 64, was killed instantly by three bullets to the head and body.
SPO1 Jaime Gimena of the Quezon City Police District Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit said that the shooting happened at around 11 p.m. Tuesday outside the Pax Urbis office at the corner of Ilang-ilang and Lily Streets in Maligaya Park Subdivision, Barangay Pasong Putik in Novaliches.
Gimena said that Agaloos had apparently just arrived when the gunmen attacked him.
According to the case investigator, a passerby heard gunfire and spotted the motorcycle riders fleeing as Agaloos lay bleeding on the ground.
Gimena said the witness immediately sought the help of barangay officials who reported the incident to the police.
