Clash ongoing between soldiers, rebels in Negros Occidental
MANILA, Philippines—A firefight was ongoing between government troops and communist rebels in Escalante City in Negros Occidental, Philippine National Police spokesman Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr. said on Wednesday.
The clash was happening in Sitio Sampinit, Libertad in Escalante City, said Cruz.
