Monsoon, cold front to bring rain in N. Luzon, Bicol, E. Visayas—Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon will continue to prevail in Northern Luzon while the Bicol region and Eastern Visayas will have light to moderate rains due to the diffused tail-end of a cold front, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.

Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Cagayan Valley and the province of Aurora, Metro Manila and Calabarzon will experience cloudy skies with light rains, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms particularly over Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga and Davao Region.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and Eastern Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas, Pagasa said.
