FRANKIE Minoza proved that he still has plenty left in the tank as he calmly sank a par putt on the second playoff hole to outlast brothers, Jay and Rufino Bayron to win the P5 million The Country Club Invitational crown at the TCC layout yesterday in Canlubang.
Minoza stumbled in the final round, wherein he failed to shoot in a single birdie but showed nerves of steel in securing the win during the do-or-die playoff holes.
The victory also erased the stigma of his playoff loss to Juvic Pagunsan in the 2008 edition of the event./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
