St. Luke’s Global City fund-raiser for cancer patients

The Cancer Institute of St. Luke’s Medical Center in Global City, Taguig, will launch a fund-raising activity for cancer patients in time for the season of hearts.

The project dubbed “Hearts for Charity” is in support of St. Luke’s social service cancer patients and the projects of Corridor of Hope, a cancer support group of the hospital.

“Sharing our blessings most especially to the financially challenged is a true expression of love, the reason why we celebrate Valentine’s Day,” said Dr. Charity Charisse Viado-Gorospe, director of the Cancer Institute.

Hearts for Charity will be held on Feb. 12 at the Piano Lounge on the second floor St. Luke’s-Global City from 12 noon to 2 p.m.

It will be capped by a mini-concert featuring guest celebrities.
