4 hurt in Pasig City road accident
FOUR persons were hurt in a road accident early Friday morning involving a trailer truck, a mini-dump truck, two jeepneys and an Isuzu Crosswind at the corner of Ortigas and C5 Roads in Barangay Ugong, Pasig City, around 3 a.m. An initial investigation by the Pasig City Police Traffic Investigation Unit showed that the mini-dump truck, two jeepneys and the Crosswind had stopped at a red light at the intersection of the two streets when the trailer truck rammed into the vehicles. Asindi Nahira Mamamac, 17, and Leo Tica Munga, 38, were rushed to the Rizal Medical Center for treatment. The police have yet to name the identities of the two other victims. Wellness firm loses valuables to thieves
THIEVES forced their way into the headquarters of a company selling health and wellness supplements in Pasig City, taking with them P150,000 worth of valuables. A police report said Noel Yumang Salvacion, the national sales manager of Body Needs and Basics along Shaw Boulevard, Barangay Oranbo, discovered the robbery while they were about to open for business on Friday. The suspects’ loot included three laptops worth P102,000 and P54,000 in cash. The Pasig police have yet to identify the people behind the heist. Nathan R. Melican

THE RAMON Magsaysay High School (España, Manila) Batch 1983 is celebrating its pearl anniversary with a reunion to be held at Crowne Plaza Hotel on March 9.
