Pagadian City Mayor Samuel S. Co. Richel V.Umel/Inquirer Mindanao
MANILA, Philippines – Another complaint for syndicated estafa has been filed against Pagadian City Mayor Samuel Co for his alleged involvement in the multi-billion Ponzi scheme of Aman Futures.
The victim, who declined to be identified, said he and two others invested over P100 million in Aman Futures allegedly through the mayor.
“May bridge kami (We have a connection), common friends, tapos pinakilala kami sa kanya (referring to Co) (then we were introduced to him). Our money [was] given to him,” he said.
He said they gave Co the money sometime between the last week of August and first week of October last year.
Co already denied the allegations against him. This is the third complaint filed against the Pagadian City mayor.
