Police identified the victim as William Lacbayo, 47, a resident of Camarin, Caloocan City.
Lacbayo, the report said, was a construction worker.
The investigation said he jumped from the third floor of a construction site at Honorio Lopez boulevard corner Kaunlaran St., Balut, Tondo, Manila early Tuesday.
The Manila Police District homicide division said the victim was drunk when he tried to commit suicide.
Co-workers of Lacbayo told the police he showed signs of depression and everytime he’s drunk, he always tried to end his life by making an attempt to jump from the third floor. John Daryl Dimalanta
