Minor held after boy whom he bullied died of injuries

A 13-year-old boy has been turned over to the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development after he allegedly bullied and punched an older boy who later died of injuries on Sunday afternoon in Quezon City.

Case investigator PO3 Erickson Isidro said both boys were out of school youths and residents of Visayas Avenue Extension in Barangay (village) Pasong Tamo.

The victim, 14-year-old Arjon Caber, died at Bernardino General Hospital where he was rushed after he suddenly vomited blood.

Initial investigation showed that the two boys fought on Sunday afternoon after the 13-year-old bullied Caber.

The younger boy then punched in the back the victim who vomited blood after he got home. Caber’s parents rushed him to the hospital where he died.  Julie M. Aurelio
