The creation of Public Estates Authority

The Makati-based Public Estates Authority, now the Philippine Reclamation Authority, was created through Presidential Decree No. 1084 which was signed on Feb. 4, 1977. Attached to the Office of the President, it was established to serve as the clearing house for reclamation projects in the country. Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
