SMB routs Saigon Heat in ABL hoop
THE San Miguel Beermen exacted sweet revenge upon the Saigon Heat as they won, 100-74, in the Asean Basketball League yesterday at the Ynares Sports Arena.
The win made up for the 89-92 loss that the Beermen suffered at the hands of this very same Heat team last week.
They took ownership of the lead and eventually the game with a 30-15 scoring binge in the second period that put them on top, 55-35, at halftime.

Gabe Freeman led the onslaught with 21 points while fellow import Brian Williams added 18.
The locals also did their part with Asi Taulava and Chris Banchero scoring 14 each. Leo Avenido and RJ Rizada each had 10 as the Beermen pushed their record to 2-1 (win-loss). /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
