USC Lions Club reaches out to patients, school kids

THE University of San Carlos (USC) Campus Lions Club conducted various outreach projects during the Christmas season.

Last Dec. 16, the club, together with the Cebu Optometric Society, had an eye camp project at Busay Elementary School in barangay Busay, Cebu City. At least 60 pupils availed of free eye examination.

On Dec. 24, the club held their third annual Christmas gift giving activity at the Vicento Sotto Memorial Medical Center. Grocery items were distributed to the patient beneficiaries.

On Dec. 28, the club visited the St. Martin de Porres School for special children in Labangon, Cebu City to sponsor a Christmas party for the students. The activity culminated with the distribution of gifts and bundles of joy.
