Rama to councilors: You’ll have consultants, but

Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama said yesterday that members of the City Council will be getting their consultants. But first he will have to go over their list and exercise his prerogative as mayor.

“I pity them because they are so insecure, but I can share with them the P5 million budget for consultancy contracts,” said Rama who also corrected Vice Mayor Joy Augustus Young’s impression that he intends to hire 78 consultants for his office.
