House in Cebu City strafed
A HOUSE was strafed by still-unidentified persons in barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City.
No one was hurt in the incident, police said.
The house in sitio San Roque is owned by Diego Famador.
Chief Insp. Romeo Santander, chief of the City Intelligence Branch (CIB) of the Cebu City police, said Famador is suspected to be a financial of “swertres” whose results are based on Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Suertes.
Santander said Famador is one of the three swertres financiers in the city.
Rivalry in illegal gambaling and personal grudges are being looked into as possible motives in the attack, Santander said.
Santander said the family of Famador refused to cooperate the investigation.
The strafing took place past 10 p.m. Tuesday.
