MANILA, Philippines—A brief fire broke out in a residential area in Marikina City amid heavy rains Tuesday morning.
A residential area along Ampalaya Street in the village of Tumana was hit by fire at 11:02 a.m., which was swiftly put out 12 minutes later, Inspector Omar Holganza of the National Capital Region Bureau of Fire Protection said.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, Holganza said.
He said no one was hurt in the incident.
