Filmon shocks Kia

DEFENDING champion Kia got on the other end of an upset as they were upended by Filmon, 56-58, in the Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association last weekend at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu campus in Canduman, Mandaue.

The match played on even terms for most of the game as Filmon got much-needed production from Marvin Tan, who scored a game-high 20 points built on four three-pointers.

In other games, RDAK-Edcon came from behind to down Kunstof, 54-49.  Japfa also bested Mackent, 63-49 while Istorya.net demolished Fiesta Cebuana, 72-29. Eco Blocks were also winners against San Remegio, 63-44 while Gaisano Capital outlasted Jolli Traders, 66-61./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
